The focus of this role is to support the bank’s financial reporting process and act as a key control point. This role is within the local Financial Planning and Analysis team and assists with providing insight into the executive team’s BAU financial performance and in helping them delivering their financial targets.

Your tasks

  • Understanding core financials of a business across P&L and Balance Sheet.
  • Support the monthly reporting tasks to deliver timely, insightful and accurate management information to the local Management and Group.
  • Establish and maintain control processes to ensure data quality, accuracy and consistency across the bank’s various accounting systems and the team’s reporting lines
  • Supporting the preparation and development of financial plans, budgets and forecasts and ensuring these align to strategic goals
  • Providing ad hoc financial analysis, scenario analysis and MI as required
  • Supporting the collation and communication of monthly financial performance to the business/Group

 

Your knowledge/experience

  • Recognised business degree (Bachelor) or equivalent
  • Relevant finance experience of at least 3 years
  • Awareness of market and industry environment (commercial awareness)
  • Practical understanding of relevant financial systems and processes
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good presentation skills
  • Good planning, organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, German is a plus
