Your tasks
- Support in the refinement of requirements and acceptance criteria and effort estimations
-
Analyse test basis, create detailed and well-structured test cases, prepare test data and execute tests in accordance with the test plan following test framework standards

Understand project requirements in collaboration with the stakeholders and feature team members
-
Identify prerequisites, ensure requirement traceability and coverage
-
Report defects including clear and reproducible steps, support defect triage, retest fixes and contribute to defect management

Develop, execute, maintain, and document manual and automated regression test suites
-
Contribute to retrospectives and lessons learnt with expert knowledge
Your knowledge/experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, in IT or the related sector for several years

Familiarity with different testing techniques, ISTQB foundation level is a plus
-
Proven experience in functional testing (additional experience in operational acceptance testing, support of non-functional testing, test automation is a plus)

Strong understanding of software test methodologies, tools, and best practices

Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems and different project environments, driven by different methodologies, e.g. Agile, Scrum, Waterfall

Good knowledge of MS Office, Confluence, Jira and relevant plug-ins, e.g. Xray

Fluency in English (additionally Dutch and/or German is a strong plus)

Experience in the financial sector is a plus, from product features to key processes and main IT systems and suppliers
