Your tasks

  • Building relationships within the team in order to effectively perform the diverse data management/governance tasks and foster cooperation and growth
  • Connecting with data governance stakeholders, with the goal of effectively managing the processes of data management
  • Relying on our strong analytical background, combining it with the understanding of how Banks work, as well as solid stakeholder management
  • Delivering actionable results to the top management, enabling well-informed decisions with a positive impact on the Bank
  • Interacting successfully with the Group colleagues, Internal and External Audit and Supervisory Authorities
  • Reporting on the developments in the Bank’s data management activities as well as related data risks
  • Overseeing the process of managing all phases of implementation of new data management capabilities
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the field

 

Your knowledge/experience

  • Educated to degree level in a relevant subject (Business and information technology related studies)
  • Several years’ of professional experience in in data management/governance positions in retail banking
  • Solid knowledge of data management/governance frameworks and best practices (ex. DAMA -DMBOK, DCAM)
  • Programming skills in SQL/Python or similar languages
  • Experience coaching junior colleagues
  • Good stakeholder management skills
  • Highly analytical approach to problem solving
  • Fluency in English (Dutch and/or German is a plus)
