Your tasks
- Requirements Elicitation: Manage business engagement to understand, challenge and document underlying business needs, translating these into scope, objectives and business goals
- Requirements Development: Support the analysis of business processes design ensuring acceptance and buy in from key business stakeholders.
- Requirements Management: Proactively manage the scope and the documentation of business requirements (including process flows/description, requirements catalogues and traceability matrices)
- Solution Assessment & Validation: Understand, validate and articulate the effects of proposed solutions, Engages with a diverse group of stakeholders to ensure the solution design meet business goals and the intended requirements, resolving conflicting requirements as appropriate.
- Developing the business: Support the continuous development and improvement of products, processes, procedures and related technology solutions post project closure
- Stakeholder management: Engages a variety of stakeholders across business/product areas, owning and gathering specification input, delivering quality work and maintaining relationships during and post project closure. Act a link between business and IT
- 3rd party management and governance process support: Act as a main point of contact for 3rd party service providers when it comes to solution requirements, and ensure solutions adhere to IT and compliance policies
Your knowledge/experience
- Educated to bachelor's degree
- Several years practical experience of methodologies and techniques in Business and IT System Analysis, functional and non-functional analysis, requirements elicitation and process modelling
- Able to make sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems
- Excellent communication skills and ability to deliver communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences (both Business and IT)
- Experience in managing (supplier) relations within a professional environment
- Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships across organisational levels
- Very good time management with a track record of delivery against agreed plans/timescales
- Good knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, MS Office and MS Visio
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Banking background is a plus
